Fall Foto Fun
The pups got to explore new shapes, textures, and smells as we took some fall themed photos the weekend after thanksgiving! Photo shoots are always a great time to spend one-on-one time with the pups and get to know them a bit better. It’s also a time I like to introduce them to new things to help socialize them to different situations.
This fall themed backdrop allowed for puppies to explore a real pumpkin, fake flowers, leaves, a butternut and acorn squash, and crochet pumpkins (which most thought were chew toys!)
Belladonna made sure the pups were safe and secure in the pumpkin, despite their initial whines. The pumpkin insides were cool and slippery, after all! A couple pups even taste tested it 🤭
Pumpkin is actually a great treat for dogs! It also helps with tummy troubles (yay fiber!), so it's good to get them used to it early on. Canned pumpkin puree (pure pumpkin, not the pumpkin pie filling) is a good staple to keep in your pantry.
Seven also had to get in on the photo fun! She's the momma to Luna, Artemis, and Selene. (Pictured below! Artemis is staying here, but check out the Available Pups page for more info on her sweet sisters!)
The S Series pups, Sedona, Shelby, and Spyder were good sports for their first big shoot, too!
